Sky Bearing

  I felt the urge to open up the door and follow but then I decided to obey him and I walked down the tunnel.  A few moments later I found myself in a large chamber filled with furniture and sitting on a leather sofa was Nera. She jumped up and hugged me tightly.
  "Zac! I'm so glad you made it here alive!" she exclaimed smiling.
  "So am I, Nera.  What happened after they drug you away?" I asked curiously.
  "They only threw me out the front door of the court and told me to scram," to said.  "Nothing as bad as what they did to you. Locking you up and such but we can talk about this while we journey through the Grand Wood."
  "Grand Wood?"
  "Phin and I planned it all out over the past week.  He is gone to the library to retrieve some maps of the forest.  He wants you to finish writing in this book of yours," she handed the black book over.
  "If only I had this while I was locked up.  I was so bored in there."
  "I bet. I would've been too.  Just catch up on your writing and then I will brief you with our plan through the Grand Forest."
  "Just one question beforehand," I said.
  "Yes?"
  "Why are we going to venture through the forest?"
  "According to legend there is an elevator hidden in a tree somewhere in the heart of the Grand Wood.  And not just any old elevator.  It is a Bornic Network Chamber!"
  "This should be easy," I laughed.  "So you got a pen?"
  "Catch."
