Where am I? » 2
It took about thirty minutes to get into town and it was one of the most beautiful places I had ever seen. The roads were made with golden and brown stones, and on either side of the road were tall buildings made of black glass. These buildings, as I later learned, were apartments. They were designed where you could see outside from anywhere, but nobody could see in. Not even sunlight got through the black glass. In between some of the buildings were buildings about forty-feet tall. Some were green (which meant that there were businesses), others were gold (which meant that there were restaurants), and the rest were blue (which meant that there were stores). All the buildings were made from the same glass, you could see out but nobody could see in.
Upon entering town we started walking and she turned to me. She told me that she had to take the Lightning-Orb back to the Forge. I was puzzled but I told her that I would wait. She walked towards one of the blue buildings and entered it. I walked to the building and sat on a bench in front of it, where I rated for ten minutes until she came back out.
"Can I ask you what a Lightning-Orb is?" I asked.
"Yes, but wait until we get to my room. I will explain anything to you, but you must first explain to me."
"Okay."
We walked down the stone road to an intersection where we turned right. That turn was followed by another right turn, then a left, and then a left turn towards one of the tall black buildings. We walked through the revolving door and then on top of a red circle, where we stood for a minute. Suddenly our bodies were lurched upwards. She said thirty-two and ninety and then suddenly we stopped and I found that we were standing in a carpeted room that over-looked the forest. In front of us stood a man and a woman who I guessed were the parents.
"Where have you been Nera?" the woman asked.
"I was out hunting tigers."
"And who is this boy that you have brought along?" the man asked.
"I found him in the woods."
A scared look crossed both the man and the woman's face then they both screamed at the same time, "Take him back! Take him back! We don't need this in our house! Take him back now, Nera!"
